Do magic key passes sell out? ›

During past sales, fans have waited hours for an opportunity to buy a Magic Key only to find out Disneyland has once again sold out of annual passes. “Please be aware that availability is very limited and passes could sell out quickly,” according to the Disneyland Magic Key Buying Guide website.

Disneyland Resort Magic Key passes are a limited license to enter the Disneyland Resort theme parks. To enter a Disneyland Resort theme park, each Magic Key holder is required to have both a theme park reservation and Magic Key pass valid for admission to the same park on the same date they plan to visit.

Disneyland's Magic Key program is essentially a rebranding of their old Annual Pass program. Magic Keys are offered in four tiers, each of which offers a different level of access to the park and different blockout days. In August of 2022, the top-level Dream Key was replaced with the new Inspire Key.

Disneyland raised Magic Key prices in October to $1,649 for the Inspire Key, $1,249 for the Believe Key, $849 for the Enchant Key and $499 for the Imagine Key. Magic Key Update: All four Magic Keys are no longer available for new purchases. Disneyland: “We have stopped sales of new passes at this time to help protect the experience for Magic Key holders and the value those passes provide.” All passes remain available to renew.

A Pass will expire if it is not activated within one (1) year from the date of purchase, and upon expiration, such expired Pass may no longer be activated or have park reservations scheduled for it, and any existing park reservations for such Pass will be cancelled. No refunds will be given.
