MYRTLE BEACH MARATHON
March 2, 2024
The 2024 Myrtle Beach Marathon will take place on March 2, offering the usual lineup of categories: full marathon, half marathon, and the popular 5K. Participation isn’t limited to Myrtle Beach visitors – there is a virtual 10K option available so runners all over the US can participate. Register online to receive a finisher medal and tank top, plus a long-sleeve shirt featuring the 2024 design. The Myrtle Beach Marathon starts and ends at Myrtle Beach Pelicans Stadium, with an afterparty at the stadium featuring refreshments to help runners recover after the race.
KIDZTIME FESTIVAL
March 9, 2024
The annual KidzTime Festival at nearby Broadway at the Beach will take place this year on Saturday March 9 from noon to 4 pm. This Myrtle Beach festival for kids features vendors with games, activities, and giveaways, plus face painting, character appearances, and other free things for kids to do. Vendors will be set up in Broadway at the Beach’s Center Court, located between Build A Bear, It’Sugar, The Mole Hole, and Quiet Storm, in addition to along The Avenue between Hard Rock Cafe and Dave & Buster’s. This is a free Myrtle Beach festival, and most games/activities offered are also free.
34TH ANNUAL ST. PATRICK’S DAY PARADE AND FESTIVAL

The beloved annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival in North Myrtle Beach returns this year on March 16. This Myrtle Beach parade will begin at 9 am, followed by a day of family-friendly entertainment at the St. Patrick’s Day Festival from 11 am to 4 pm. The festival area will feature multiple stages for live music and entertainment, local vendors and food trucks, face painting and kid-specific activities, and more spring fun. Parking and admission are free.
RUN TO THE SUN CAR SHOW

For 35 years, the annual Run to the Sun Car Show has drawn local and visiting car enthusiasts to Myrtle Beach for a weekend of engine-revving fun! This Myrtle Beach car show features thousands of the area’s best vintage cars, trucks, and other vehicles paired with their drivers who are more than eager to show off their rides. Attendees can also meet this year’s celebrity guests: Tom Wopat, who played Luke Duke in the famous series Dukes of Hazzard, and The Blues Brothers with Stan and Bob Hammond as Jake and Elwood Blues showing their 1974 Bluesmobile.

Myrtle Beach’s tastiest festival is back for another year this spring. The 2024 Myrtle Beach Food Truck Festival will take place April 5 – 7 at Burroughs & Chapin Pavilion Place. This year’s festival offers even more delicious dishes and crisp local brews than ever before. PELICANS BASEBALL OPENING DAY

The Seacoast Artists Guild presents the annual Art in Common event again this year on April 6 and 7 in Valor Park. MONDAY AFTER THE MASTERS

Monday After the Masters in Myrtle Beach welcomes golf fans and enthusiasts from all over to enjoy this pro-am tournament that features professional golfers and well-known celebrities. Starting on Saturday night with a badge-required welcome party at House of Blues, this weekend also features a Pairings Party and Auction and an After Hours Party on Sunday night. The pro-am tournament kicks off at 10 am on Monday, April 15th. A VIP Badge is required to attend this event, including a special concert at the House of Blues with Hootie & the Blowfish on Monday evening.
