Of all the species in Skyrim, there's none quite like the Khajiit. Known for their cat-like exterior, these beings are known to be avid merchants and travelers who have come to Skyrim all the way from Elsweyr.

Often dressed in robes and cloaks, their caravans dot the outsides of the cities, as they aren't allowed to trade within city walls. During your adventures, you're likely to come across a few notable members of the species, namely J'zargo from the College of Winterhold, as well as the infamously popular M'aiq the Liar, who's word should not and cannot be trusted under any circ*mstances. 10 The Khajiit Dragonborn
When you're first creating your character, it might seem like a natural option to pick the Nord or Imperial to be your hero. However, why not try the Khajiit next time? Just think of how amazing and unexpected it would be to finally see a Khajiit Dragonborn.
This cat in the wall certainly seems like he could be one, having harnessed the power of Thu'um and shouted a hole into the wall. By channeling this very same energy, why not set out on a much different journey through Skyrim by breaking all stereotypes and making your Dragonborn into the sneakiest Khajiit of all.
9 Thievery At Its Best
There are many unfortunate stereotypes in the world of Skyrim. Dark Elves are considered poor, high elves are seen as evil, Nords are seen as overly zealous nationalists and Khajiits are considered sneaky schemers. Often blamed for if something magically goes missing, Khajiits tend to be the first people in Skyrim to point at to pass the blame.

People like M'aiq the Liar definitely aren't helping this stereotype, nor is it any better that as merchants the Khajiit don't get to sell their wares at the regulated city markets like everyone else.
8 Wares For Those With Coin
Perhaps the most popular meme concerning the Khajiit is the one with cats standing by a set of items like merchants. In Skyrim, these people have traveled all across Tamriel and continue their journey constantly. Many of them finance their travels by selling a few random things at a decent price.
You'll often find Khajiit in their own little encampment or caravans, moving from city to city. If you're looking for Skooma in particular, they're the perfect people to go to when in search of the delectable moon sugar drug that makes you go incredibly fast.
7 Stealthy Khajiit
Khajiit aren't exactly known for being strong two-handed fighters. Because of their scheming nature, they make for excellent stealth experts, although many Khajiit also stand outside of this stereotype. This cat here, in particular, seems to embody the sneakiness of a typical Khajiit, able to disguise himself as the shadow of another cat.
Next time you play as a Khajiit, why not make them an assassin or a master thief set on getting into the pockets of anyone and everyone. With such great agility and acrobatics, many Khajiit often find themselves on the wrong side of the law, sneaking in and out without so much as a whisper left behind.
6 M'aiq The Liar
There's no character quite as iconic in Skyrim as M'aiq the Liar. You may have already met him, as he wanders around in his yellow robes and lives to spread lies of all kind into the ears of anyone who has time to listen. He has a lot to say about a variety of topics, but he seems to have a bit of an issue with keeping his stories straight. Perhaps he's simply physically unable to speak the truth.

5 Realistic Skyrim
Who doesn't love mods in Skyrim? With how much they can do, it's almost a shame to not play with at least a few of them. Some of the realism mods in particular that up the graphics of the game and make it look like it's something out of a real-life photo, it's hard to even imagine going back to how the game originally looks like.
You might even mistake one of the Khajiit in the caravans outside of the city for an actual cat, thanks to talented modders who have worked hard to make these being look as realistic and as elaborate as possible.
4 Cat Physics
There are many beliefs about cats, about how they have nine lives and how they land on their feet after falling down. While many people in Skyrim often say incredibly insulting things to the Khajiit (something about turning them into rugs), this meme, in particular, is as funny as it is morbid.
Next time, please be mindful of your Khajiit follower or friend, and don't expect them to magically survive a fall. No matter how tempting it can be to conclude cats and Khajiit are the same, they're actually quite different. Just not in appearance.

We all sort of cringe when we look at old photos of ourselves and the Khajiit don't seem to have it any better. Just looking at how far we've come from Oblivion, it's pretty obvious that the Khajiit we have in the game currently look a thousand times better.

We can't tell you whether or not cats are able to laugh or feel amusem*nt, but we do know you'd probably make a Khajiit scoff and chuckle at you if you tried to buy something from them without some gold. Considering they're a pretty nomadic species that loves to travel around and needs the coin to finance their travels, they depend on selling whatever junk they've accumulated during their adventures.
Remember, don't even try to steal from the Khajiit, as they'll probably know to expect it and you wouldn't want to be on the wrong end of a sword in that fight.
