Where is the undiscovered in Lake of Nine? ›

Located northwest of Tyr's Temple - the circular structure at the center of the Lake of Nine – the Demise of Dagestr Buried Treasure can only be collected after you've completed the Forging Destiny main quest and found its corresponding Treasure Map in The Applecore.

Freyr's Camp - Legendary Chest 1

Once you've completed Forging Destiny, return all the way to Freyr's Camp and head to the North-West path (to the left of the two Elves). Follow the path here across the river to find a Wind Fissure: destroy it using your new equipment, then head through and open the chest!

It's located in the northwest corner of Vanaheim, and you won't be able to see it on the map — let alone get there — until you've really made a dent in the game's main story.

This Odin's Raven can be found shortly after leaving Freyr's camp itself with Freya. Early on you'll pass through a tunnel, and are then expected to drop down some ledges leading under a tree. Instead of doing that, head left and go to the lake: perched above it is the Raven, to the left of a giant blue ring.

Treasure Location: Head to the East of the Lake of Nine, and take the lower path towards the Raider Hideout. Before you go in, you'll see a pair of huge metal doors - the treasure lies just in front of them.

Lake of Nine Legendary Chests

This Legendary Chest is found at the base of the Realm Tower to the West of Tyr's Temple. To get to it, you need to destroy the Wind Fissure in the ice at the Southern corner of the tower. Use the equipment you got during the Forging Destiny main quest to destroy it.

Vanir Shrine - Legendary Chest 1

The Legendary Chest in Vanir Shrine is found in the Northern side-area, the one guarded by spitting plants and a drawbridge you have to bring down. Head across the bridge, right and up the slope, and then check the right-hand side of the area at the top to find the chest behind a gate.

You can find them at The Raven Tree, directly South of the main Mystic Gateway and Brok's workshop. To unlock these Legendary Chests, you need to hit certain milestones of Odin's Ravens; they unlock in a clockwise direction, starting with the lower chest on the left-hand side. Opening a chest will reward a unique item.

The Crater is an informal term for the bonus area in Northern Vanaheim, containing a wealth of things to explore and discover. This page contains an overview of all of The Crater's regions, including collectible locations, side quests, secrets, and optional boss fights in the realm.

Found in The Sinkholes, the Starblush flower cannot be accessed until you complete the Return of the River Favor in The Jungle, which restores the rivers and opens up more areas to explore.

How to unlock the crater in Vanaheim? ›

This is most likely the last Draugr you'll encounter, as it is located in a remote region of Vanaheim known as The Crater. You will get access to this region after completing the main story quest, Creatures of Prophecy.

Freyr's Camp - Legendary Chest 2

Once they're done, turn around to face the river building, then spot the Wind Fissure on your right. Destroy it with a Draupnir Spear, then climb up onto the roof. The chest contains Leviathan's Roar, a Heavy Runic Attack for the Leviathan Axe.

Near this dock you can expect to find: Family Crests - Skirnir's Crest. Mystic Gateway.

The last Raven in Alfheim is one of the hardest to find in God of War Ragnarök, as you need to destroy the rubble under the outside entrance to the elven library first to unearth a crawlspace and locate it. You'll find the Raven flying around the left-hand side after entering the crawlspace.

Lake of Nine Artifacts

This Artifact is found on a small island North-East of Tyr's Temple, the large round structure in the middle of the Lake of Nine. Approach from the South, then go up the stairs to the top. The Artifact will be at the feet of a corpse on your right.

While it may appear that Sverd Sands has a single Collectible in it, in actuality the Undiscovered item is a side quest. This side quest is not available until you've completed all quests in The Path (aka completed the game), however considering its context, we've refrained from linking it here.

Lake of Nine Legendary Chests

Lake of Nine Berserker Gravestone

You can find Fraekni the Zealous in the north of the Lake of Nine, directly in front of the Helheim Realm Tower. Fraekni is an aggressive, melee-focused Berserker.
